KnowledgeWorkx announced that it has launched a new brand, SportsWorkx, to focus on the rapidly growing global sports market.
The move launches a division of KnowledgeWorkx that was once in development but suspended during the 2009 economic crisis in Dubai.
"We have desired to launch a brand to focus on the sports market, but with the financial crisis in Dubai we had to put some new strategic initiatives, like SportsWorkx, on hold. We are excited that now is the time. Sports has gone global now more than ever before. The commercialization of sports has created a major need to professionalize how sports institutions and organizations are run as well as helping people in the industry to become inter-culturally smart and develop global leadership competencies. KnowledgeWorkx/SportsWorkx has the experience and the capabilities to service the sports industry in that way", said Marco Blankenburgh, Owner and International Director of KnowledgeWorkx.
"We are excited to have Scott Fritz leading the launch and development of SportsWorkx. Scott is a young, dynamic, and entrepreneurial-minded person who has lifelong experience in sports business. He already has a proven record in the sports industry because of his global mindset and is a perfect fit for SportsWorkx."
Scott Fritz hails from Daytona Beach, Florida, USA; the birth place of NASCAR. He walks in the footsteps of his Father, former NASCAR Executive and current CEO of US Motorsports & Iowa Speedway. Scott brings to the table extensive experience with NASCAR and IMG College with brief stints at the National Basketball Association (NBA), ISP Sports (now IMG College), and IMG Worldwide. His strong background of experience, education, his passion for people, and high level of Inter-Cultural Intelligence make him a key contributor to the success of SportsWorkx in the global sports industry.
"It is great to see some of the fastest growing economies in the world realize the benefits of using sport as a way to develop the health of the nation. In sports today across the globe, but more specifically among emerging market economies, there is a lack of development in professionalizing the organizations, institutions, and its people", said Scott. "I am excited that our unique service offering can help these organizations and individuals pursue excellence at highest level in order to achieve sustainable success. On the whole, there is rapid growth happening in sports across this region, and it is an exciting time to be a part of it."
