Rana Nejem Becomes a KnowledgeWorkx Partner

We are proud to share that Rana Nejem has joined the team as a KnowledgeWorkx Partner.

With a focus on transforming behavior and attitudes, Rana specializes in helping businesses create and nurture organizational cultures that align seamlessly with their objectives and values. Her expertise is rooted in a deep understanding of human behavior and organizational dynamics, backed by certifications in various behavioral and cultural assessment tools. These tools allow Rana to accurately diagnose and address underlying issues that may be hindering a company’s progress, leading to effective and harmonious work environments.

Rana founded YARNU in 2013 (an Arabic word meaning to look towards, to aspire to with calm and serenity). Through a variety of bespoke programs, YARNU helps people distinguish themselves by raising their social and intercultural intelligence, enabling them to float with ease and confidence from one situation to the other. 

Her first book, When in the Arab World: An Insider’s Guide to Living and Working with Arab Culture, was published in the United Kingdom in May 2016, and the second expanded edition came out early in 2019.

She started her career as a broadcast journalist with Jordan Television. After working with CNN during the First Gulf War, Rana moved to the Royal Hashemite Court, where she was responsible for His Majesty the late King Hussein’s International Media Department for two years. She then moved into the field of communications and public relations leading the public diplomacy and communications work of the British Embassy in Amman for 18 years.

Rana carries the following degrees/certifications:

• Master's degree in International Communications and Negotiations from The Fletcher School of Law and Diplomacy

• Certified by IPsychTec in CultureScope

• Certified Professional Coach

• Certified coach in Inter-Cultural Agility

• Everything DiSC Facilitator

• Trained by The Protocol School of Washington in International Protocol Management and Business Etiquette.
